Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 2-3 days/week, 2-4 weeks/month; Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM; No Call
• Job Setting: Outpatient; On-Site Only; Local candidates only at this time
• Types of Cases:
  • Screening and diagnostic mammography
  • Breast ultrasound and breast MRI
  • Image-guided procedures: biopsies, localizations, and aspirations
  • Screening Mammography: 45-55% (~35-40 per shift)
  • Diagnostics: 25-35%
  • Procedures: 15-25%
  • Patients per shift: 40-50
  • Same-day diagnostic workups
  • Resident/Teaching supervision required
• EMR/PACS: Cerner EMR; Change Health PACS (transitioning to Sectra PACS in July)
• Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days; Temporary privileges not available; Hospital/surgery center privileges required; Fellowship training required
• Facility: DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, Detroit, MI (Tenet Healthcare Corporation); Trauma Level 2; Stroke Certified
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: BLS required
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Michigan only; IMLC not accepted
• Fellowship: Fellowship trained in breast radiology required
• Additional Skills:
  • Highly knowledgeable in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements
  • Detail-oriented in reporting
  • Strong patient-facing communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, clinic-based environment
  • Collaborative with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams
