The vision of the department is to serve the people of Florida by providing a transportation network that is well planned, supports economic growth, and has the goal of being congestion and fatality free.The Work You Will Do:Contract Manager / Support Services Office The Contract Manager role is responsible for developing, reviewing, and managing contract scopes, terms, budgets, deliverables, and performance measures in accordance with Florida Statutes and FDOT policies. The position ensures financial and performance integrity by evaluating costs, contractor reports, and supporting documentation, and by maintaining audit ready records. This role coordinates with procurement, legal, leadership, and other internal stakeholders to support contracting decisions, monitor deadlines, resolve issues, and prevent service disruptions. Responsibilities may include assessing needs, conducting procurements and negotiations, writing, and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, evaluating provider performance, reviewing invoices and budgets, and completing contract closeout activities. The position also provides administrative and operational support, develops tools and templates.
