Director of Marketing and Promotions

We are bringing authentic beef bowls and craveable comfort to more guests every day. This role owns how we show up in communities, drive traffic, and turn first visits into loyal fans. You will set the promotional engine that grows same-store sales and brand love while we expand.

Performance Objectives

• Increase comparable-store sales 8–12% year-over-year through integrated national and local promotions that lift guest frequency and average check.
• Launch four seasonal campaigns annually that generate measurable trial, with 70%+ of participating restaurants hitting lift targets within 30 days.
• Build and execute a local-store marketing playbook that 80% of operators adopt, producing at least 15% incremental traffic from community events and partnerships.
• Grow digital and loyalty engagement 25% by optimizing offers, content, and channel mix across social, email, app, and in-store.
• Deliver promotional ROI of 4:1 or better while staying within approved marketing budget and vendor guidelines.
• Establish a simple measurement cadence (weekly dashboards, monthly business reviews) so operators and leadership see what’s working in real time.

Environment & Resources

You report to the VP of Brand and work with operations, culinary, franchisees, and a lean agency roster. You will have a defined annual marketing budget, access to POS and loyalty data, and a small internal team plus field marketing support. Headquarters is in Torrance, CA; travel to restaurants and events is expected.

Essential Qualifications

• 7+ years leading multi-unit restaurant or QSR marketing and promotions with proven same-store sales impact.
• Track record launching seasonal and local campaigns that operators actually execute and guests respond to.
• Hands-on experience with loyalty, digital media, and in-store merchandising that moves traffic and check.
• Ability to turn data into simple, actionable plans for restaurant teams.
• Comfort balancing brand standards with franchisee realities and tight timelines.
