Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physician to join our Medicare Advantage Clinic in New Mexico. The provider will care for patients by delivering outpatient, primary care services focused on patient-centric measures such as access to care, value-aligned prescribing, diabetes care, and cardiovascular care. In this role, you will lead and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive medical care. Practice Info Medicare Advantage Clinic in New Mexico Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses through in-person, telehealth, and asynchronous encounters Collaborate with Social Worker, Community Health, PHP benefits, pharmacy Orchestrate treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapy plans in partnership with patient and their caregivers/family Promote population health management programs and services to patients 14-16 patients per day Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses with a focus on access, cost management, and reduced ED and hospital utilization Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies with a strong alignment toward value Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately Manage the provider/patient relationship Receive and resolve patient complaints Involved in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups Compensation Nationally competitive salary Benefits Relocation allowance available CME allowance Fully paid malpractice insurance Robust wellness program, including free access to our on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching and classes, wellness challenges and more Robust, day one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, vision and more 403b retirement savings program with both matching programs and employer contributions Shift & Schedule Full time FTE: 1.00 Qualifications MD, Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine State of New Mexico Medical License, DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration Candidates will need to be versed in Value aligned care
