Job Details:

• Locum tenens opportunity with an ongoing need to replace a permanent provider; multiple providers will be accepted for full weeks only
• Provider MUST be able to commit to a 7-14 day stretch; half weeks will not be considered
• Urgent dates available: October 26, 7a - November 2, 7a (as of 9/29/26)
• Schedule: Monday 7a - Monday 7a with 12 hours in-house for rounding, consulting, and procedures (Mon-Sun, 7a-7p); call back between 7p-7a (24-hour call)
• Up to 15 patient encounters per shift
• Provider must be able to perform both ERCP and EUS procedures - both are required
• Higher acuity GI need; GI fellowship is preferred
• Board certification is required
• Active New Mexico medical license is required - providers not licensed in NM will not be considered
• Active NM Board of Pharmacy registration is required
• Provider must have a dedicated DEA for NM that cannot switch between weeks; no facility DEA is available - provider must have their own
• 100% clean background history is required for temporary privileges
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
