What You'll Do
- Provide specialized oncology nursing care to adult patients with diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, and other hematologic disorders
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using EPIC system
- Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects in accordance with protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, medications, and symptom management
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to patient needs during rounds
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards
What You Need
Required:- Ohio RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
- ACLS certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
About the Assignment This role is based in a busy outpatient oncology clinic serving adult patients with various hematologic and oncologic conditions. The clinic features 16 patient rooms, a daily census of 80-100, and an electronic documentation system (EPIC).
