The Starbucks in the Five Star Bank Plaza is one of the properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. Baristas create beverages and serve customers with a smile, ensuring a unique Starbucks experience. Responsibilities include making drinks, stocking inventory, ensuring store cleanliness, and providing menu suggestions. Responsibilities Greeting guests and answering all menu questions. Accurate and prompt order taking. Prompt preparation of beverages in accordance with prescribed procedures and brand standards. Timely delivery of beverages/food to guests. Preparing checks and collecting payment from guests in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, and accounting policies. Cleaning equipment and areas, restocking service items. Maintaining a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and associates. Reporting all incidents of guest dissatisfaction or other significant matters to manager or supervisor for corrective action. Complying with policies and procedures. Practicing safe work habits and adhering to sanitary, safety, security, and emergency procedures. Performing any other tasks or duties as requested by management. Pay range: $18.00–$19.00 Typical shifts: Various shifts operate from 6:00 AM–8:00 PM, 7 days a week. Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available. Requirements are as follows: Previous food and beverage or restaurant environment experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation is a plus. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to understand concepts, practices, pre‑established guidelines, and procedures used by the company in guest service. Computer knowledge including intranet, property management system, Word, and Excel is strongly preferred.
