TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30322!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License: State license in hand Certifications: CCRN preferred Must-Have: Requires pulmonary artery lines. Experience with pre-surgical patients. Ability to manage 2-4 infusion drips and arterial lines. Description: This is a 12-bed, 24-hour observation unit utilized by the cardiovascular service line. Patients will include low acuity critical care patients awaiting placement in ICU or step-down units. No ventilators, CRRT, or impellas will be accepted on this unit. LVAD management is permissible. This unit also serves as an observation area for patients who have undergone same-day procedures and may require extended monitoring. The moderate care unit will be fast-paced with high patient turnover and diverse patient diagnoses. Working in this environment will provide excellent learning opportunities for a wide variety of cardiovascular procedures and diagnoses. This position will help develop organization and critical thinking skills. It will also enhance assessment skills and provide an opportunity to refine critical care abilities. A rhythm identification test (proctored) will be required upon starting the position, with two attempts allowed.
