This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting, coaching, and supervising nursing staff.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support nursing staff to ensure safe, effective care deliveryCoordinate daily unit operations, staffing assignments, and workflowEnsure timely completion of treatments, medications, and physician ordersMonitor documentation for accuracy, completeness, and complianceCommunicate changes in resident condition to providers, leadership, and familiesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning and outcomesParticipate in quality improvement, infection control, and regulatory readinessSupport admissions, discharges, and transitions of carePromote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented care environmentWhat We're Looking ForStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience in skilled nursing preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic settingCommitment to quality care and regulatory complianceLicense RequirementCurrent, active, and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Massachusetts.SkillsStrong working knowledge of long-term care practices, including care planning, resident assessment, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other management information systems to collect, analyze, and report dataAbility to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, and external stakeholdersExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in gerontological nursing, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
