Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient care is needed in Bakersfield, California. This role involves providing outpatient, inpatient, acute inpatient, and skilled services across various medical areas including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Room (ER). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a day shift schedule and may involve occasional work in a different shift.

Job Details:

• Location: Bakersfield, California
• Specialty: Physical Therapist Inpatient
• Shift: Mostly 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with occasional working one day a week 10:00 am - 6:30 pm.
• Schedule: Days, every other weekend, first to float
• Required Qualifications: CA Physical Therapist license, BLS (American Heart Association), minimum of 2 years of experience in acute inpatient settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Medical/Surgical, ICU, and ER environments.
• Additional Information: The role involves general hospital orientation followed by specialized training in each area to familiarize with the system. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts if the assignment is less than 13 weeks. Cerner Electronic Medical Record system is utilized.
