Job Description We are offering a 3-month contract employment opportunity for a Non‑Profit Controller in Martinsville, Virginia. This role will be hybrid onsite (2 days a week) and is critical to our operations, dealing with various general accounting functions and ensuring the accurate recording of our financial transactions. You will play a key role in our finance department, working closely with external auditors and preparing financial reports. Responsibilities Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GASB. Play an integral role in managing the day‑to‑day operations of the Finance Department. Responsible for all general accounting functions including month‑end closing preparation, monthly accounting reconciliations, and ensuring the company financial transactions are properly recorded Prepare and analyze month end financial reports Prepare documentation for External Auditors Ensures proper accounting and financial reporting activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, sound business practices, and relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
