You’ll work across projects for railways, highways, related transportation projects and, of course, bridges.You’ll have exposure to all sorts of duties; actively participating in:Manage bridge design and plan developmentField investigations, inspections, and repair recommendationsType studies, structural designs, preliminary through detailed, including quantity calculation and construction cost estimating, load rating, construction monitoring, expert opinions related to bridges, civil structures and other structuresNot only will you be involved in a wide range of responsibilities as a bridge / structural project manager, you’ll also be involved in business development. You will be responsible for managing your own transportation and infrastructure projects as well as take a forward-facing role with the clientWe invite applications from candidates with the following experience:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent, a masters in structural engineering preferredSE license is required for IL, WV, or OH or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months Certification as a registered professional engineer (PE) in Ohio, West Virginia, or Illinois is requiredAt least 10+ years of professional experience in bridge design or structural design in transportation or highways projectExperience working on structural bridge design projects in Ohio, West Virginia, or IllinoisExposure to other structural projects is a plusFamiliarity with AutoDesk and Bentley products, and bridge design software such as LARSA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, OpenBridge, CsiBridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE Bridge Rating, and MDX Benefits & RewardAt Mott MacDonald, our employees have a stake and a voice in our business, providing them with a direct connection to our success through our personal and group performance bonuses.
