Position is for a Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in the Nashville Market with Thomas Constructors. A General Contractor in the Nashville, TN and Huntsville, AL Markets

​Position Details:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee some aspects of a large construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Work with the Project team to maintain and update the project schedule
• Responsibility to keep the jobsite clean and safe
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Willingness to work hard and even non-business hours if the project requires
• Currently this position will not travel. Employee will currently stay local to the middle Tennessee area.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2-5 years of commercial construction field experience in ground-up and/or interior finish-out/renovation
• Must been a good communicator
• Must be willing to be trained/mentored for a period of time
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
