Crew Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Lead to join our Fine Gardening division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine gardening, along with excellent leadership and organizational skills. This is a full-time seasonal position. Our season runs from mid-March through mid-December. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Gardeners in performing landscape maintenance and installation tasks. Ensure work is done to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Train team members on proper techniques, tools, and safety procedures. Perform hands‑on gardening tasks including pruning, weeding, mulching, raking, and general maintenance. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., blowers, hedge trimmers, mowers). Keep job sites, company vehicles, and tools organized and well‑maintained. Maintain a positive and productive team atmosphere while working on‑site. Communicate with the Operations Manager to report project status and any challenges. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in landscaping, gardening, or related fields. Experience leading a small team on diverse residential job sites. Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques and organic gardening practices. Ability to work independently and problem‑solve in the field. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Container planting experience is a plus.
