No matter your background, education, or career path, if you share our vision to create extraordinary experiences, you belong at HITT.The Senior Associate, Quality Control is an intermediate position that is responsible for developing and implementing a quality control program for small and mid-sized projects. This includes preparatory and initial meetings, inspections of the installations, and supporting the Site Ops Teams with issue/punch list resolution. The Senior Associate, Quality Control will assist the Quality Control Manager in supporting our Site Ops Team in the execution of our Quality Control Program (QCP). In addition, the Senior Associate, Quality Control will execute the QCP (if needed) for multiple projects and will act as a liaison between the client and HITT's Site Ops team.Responsibilities:Work with the QCS Management Team and Associate, Quality Control on miscellaneous QC tasksParticipate in the Planning Phase of the QCP by meeting with HITT's Site Ops Team to align project expectations for the Quality Control ProgramDevelop a list of features of work (FOW) for each project and tie them to the project scheduleDevelop site-specific QC Programs for small to mid-level projects and submit to the QC Senior Manager and QC Manager for final reviewDevelop Preparatory and Initial meeting agendas and inspection templates for each FOWExecute four phases of control (Planning, Preparatory, Initial and Inspections) for each FOW with the subcontractors, vendors, and client(s) and perform all required meetings for mid-sized to more complex projectsInspect incoming materials for submittal compliance and ensure that they are properly storedOversee HITT's Superintendents inspections for each FOW and perform inspections as needed during the ongoing installation and record any deficiencies foundSchedule and monitor third party inspections and tests and collect documentationIncorporate safe work practices across the QCPDocument and track all QC documentation including all required third party inspections and test reportsProactively notify responsible parties, including the QC team, of deficiencies and non-conformance issuesProvide weekly status reports with updated progress, status, and a QC observation spotlight to the QC ManagerAttend all HITT progress meetings and client-based meetings and provide status on all QC activitiesInterface with the client and their representatives to provide status on project QC activities and to receive any feedback on our QC programTrack deficiencies and rework items to final resolution enforcing effective and timely corrective actionsCoordinate QC support for startup and commissioning documentation with the MEP Services teamAssist HITT's MEP Services team to complete equipment inspections on the field if neededInterface with the project manager and superintendent to align QC deliverablesDevelop final punch list with the Site Ops Team and oversee the project closeout processComplete any QC tasks and deliverables provided by the Manager, Quality ControlQualifications:Active certification with the Army Corps of Engineers- Construction Quality Management for Contractors or an inactive certification that needs to be refreshed within 3 months of hireOSHA-30 certification or within 3 months of hireMotivated self-starter familiar with the QC process including developing a site-specific QC Program and establishing the 4 phases of controlIs proficient with the use of Procore and/or Cx Alloy for QC documentationAbility to communicate effectively with the HITT Project Team and our clientsAdequate knowledge in the CSA and MEP disciplinesAdequate knowledge of building codes, NFPA-70E, and the NEC.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook)Excellent written and verbal skillsProficient document control skillsIn accordance with Virginia Senate Bill 215 (SB 215), the base salary range for this position is:$69,300.00 - $100,800.00Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
