Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a respected local nonprofit organization. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing accounts payable, account reconciliations, and assist with payroll , while helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative environment. If you have a strong accounting background and are looking to make an immediate impact while supporting a mission-driven organization, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable
- Complete account reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or payroll
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
Pay
- Up to $27.00 per hour , based on experience
