On-Site Supervisor (OSS)

On‑Site Supervisor (OSS) The On‑Site Supervisor will supervise staff at assigned Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs) and monitor the support provided to each individual while following the Person Center Plan (PCP). The position also provides direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in any environment they choose to participate in. The On‑Site Supervisor works collaboratively to help individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities reach their goals. Pay & Job Type Pay: $21.75 per hour (plus $0.50 per hour increase once med authorization training is completed). Job Type: Full‑time (40+ hours per week). Working Environment The working environment is changing and may at times be fast‑paced with interruptions, distractions, and deadlines. Employees are occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and may be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays to accommodate individual needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum one year experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a work and/or volunteer capacity. Management and/or supervision experience preferred. Demonstrated desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Attention to detail, especially when adhering to specific protocols and rules. High level of integrity and trustworthiness, ensuring individuals feel safe and treated with dignity. Strong interpersonal skills, including compassion and sensitivity to emotional needs. CPR and First Aid certification. At least 18 years of age. Valid Illinois driver’s license with a safe driving record. Current proof of automobile insurance. Physical Demands The job frequently requires standing, walking, and sitting. Employees must occasionally stoop, bend, push, pull, reach, walk for periods of time, and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision.
