Power BI analyst

Our client, a leading Manufacturing organization, is seeking a Power BI Analyst (Contract) to join their team. As a Power BI Analyst, you will be part of the Finance & Analytics department supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Power BI Analyst– Financial Reporting (Contract) Location: Oak Brook, IL (On-Site, Monday to Friday) Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience What’s the Job? Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial reporting and performance analysis Partner with FP&A and Accounting teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources and systems Optimize data models and DAX formulas for performance and usability Provide documentation and training for dashboard users and stakeholders What’s Needed? 3+ years of experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and DAX Strong understanding of financial reporting and manufacturing KPIs Proficiency in SQL and data modeling best practices Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment What’s in it for me?
