Recreation Leader I

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.14 per hour
Assignment Length: Approximately 6 months
Start Date: ASAP

The Recreation Leader I is responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support at the pool facility front desk. This position assists patrons with inquiries, registrations, and payments, maintains accurate records, and ensures a welcoming environment for visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to interact professionally with the public in a fast-paced recreational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to pool patrons and visitors.
• Staff the pool window/front desk and assist with daily operations.
• Answer questions, provide information, and assist with registrations or transactions.
• Maintain records and perform basic data entry using computer systems.
• Handle cash and process payments as needed.
• Support recreational programs and facility operations.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in recreation, customer service, or administrative support is a plus.
