Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) in Des Moines, Iowa. This position involves working on med surg floors including Orthopedic, Medical-Surgical, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units. The candidate must be willing to float to all specified floors and to the WestLakes Campus (9.5 miles from the primary location). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Location: Des Moines, Iowa
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, no specific experience required (0 years experience), willing to float across multiple med surg units including Orthopedic, Medical-Surgical, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical Telemetry.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in hospital med surg and telemetry units is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit requires RN staff to be flexible across various med surg floors, including the WestLakes Campus, and to work every other night schedule.
