Accounting AssistantLafayette, LA | $16/hr.We are hiring an Accounting Assistant to provide front office, administrative, purchasing, inventory, and light accounting support. The ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, dependable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats throughout the day.ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct incoming phone callsGreet visitors, customers, and vendorsCreate purchase orders and assist with office purchasingMaintain office and breakroom inventory and order suppliesProcess mail and deliveriesAssist with light Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasksSupport general office operations and administrative projectsHelp maintain a clean and organized office environmentRequirementsPrevious receptionist, administrative assistant, or front office experienceExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft OfficePositive attitude and willingness to help wherever neededPurchase orders, inventory management, and basic accounting experience preferredMicrosoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar software experience preferredSchedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMWeekly Pay & BenefitsHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance Holiday Pay 401(k) Direct Deposit
