Operations Analyst

Middle Office Reconciliation AnalystWe seek a professional to conduct daily reconciliations and data analysis within a Middle Office setting. This position is ideal for individuals with an operations background who excel at repetitive tasks, data handling, and supporting senior colleagues.ResponsibilitiesConduct routine and special reconciliations between internal systems and external data.Extract and verify data from custodians, vendors, and online sources.Maintain and update reconciliation and control files in Excel.Identify, analyze, and document discrepancies, escalating when necessary.Support operational control processes at the start and end of the day.Assist senior staff with reporting, data management, and process improvement.Requirements1-3 years in operations, middle office, reconciliations, or similar roles.Experience in asset management, banking operations, or financial services.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.Strong skills in data analysis, handling large datasets, and standardizing diverse inputs.Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise summaries.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with DUCO or similar reconciliation tools.Experience using Bloomberg.Understanding of financial concepts such as portfolio accounting, security master, and corporate actions.
