Certified Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Medical Assistants for a leading healthcare organization in Knoxville, TN . We are seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced OB/GYN clinical setting.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (No weekends)
Location: Knoxville, TN 37916
Travel: Must be able to travel between offices in Downtown Knoxville, West Knoxville, South Knoxville, and Maryville.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic clinical duties including obtaining vital signs, patient weights, and fetal heart tones.
• Assist with venipuncture, blood glucose testing, and other laboratory procedures.
• Complete initial patient assessments and report findings to the provider.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and OB/GYN procedures.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Prepare laboratory requisitions and file test results.
• Obtain informed consent after procedures have been explained by the provider.
• Clean, stock, and prepare examination rooms.
• Transport instruments for sterile processing as needed.
• Monitor inventory and maintain adequate medical supplies.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Participate in staff meetings, educational opportunities, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of related medical assistant experience preferred; new graduates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required for CMA pay rate.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work at multiple clinic locations within the Knoxville area.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
