Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem at MEDNAX in Knoxville, TN MEDNAX is seeking a per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our established practice of 9 neonatologists and 7 NNPs in Knoxville, Tennessee. Practice Details East Tennessee Children’s Hospital features a busy 60-bed, Level-III NICU Average daily census of 50 patients in a new, state-of-the-art unit Responsibilities include caring for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery Approximately 7,000 deliveries annually with strong pediatric subspecialty support Services include high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide Shifts are 8 hours; 24-hour shifts are possible Qualifications Current APRN national specialty certification Minimum of a master’s degree TN license required Local candidates preferred Benefits Our clinicians enjoy competitive compensation, with many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance.
