Senior Consolidation Accountant Atlanta, Georgia (Salary Range: $95,000-105,000) Position Overview The Senior Consolidations Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the monthly close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes for a multinational organization. This Senior Consolidations Accountant position will be responsible for preparing and analyzing consolidation entries, supporting foreign currency accounting activities, and ensuring the accuracy of global financial reporting. The Senior Consolidations Accountant will partner closely with accounting, finance, and business leaders across the organization to deliver timely and accurate financial information. The ideal Senior Consolidations Accountant brings strong technical accounting knowledge related to consolidations, equity method accounting, and foreign currency accounting, along with hands-on month-end close experience. The Senior Consolidations Accountant will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and help enhance reporting efficiency through the use of systems and analytics tools. Success in this Senior Consolidations Accountant role requires a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational environment. The Senior Consolidations Accountant will have the opportunity to influence key accounting processes and serve as a valuable member of the corporate accounting team. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 3–4+ years of corporate accounting experience. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting. Hands-on month-end close experience. Experience supporting multinational consolidation processes involving multiple legal entities and currencies. Knowledge of consolidation accounting, including intercompany eliminations. Experience with foreign currency accounting, including FX remeasurement, FX revaluation, and CTA (Cumulative Translation Adjustment). Understanding of equity method accounting and its application within a corporate environment. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large and complex data sets. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The ideal Senior Consolidations Accountant will have experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses. A successful Senior Consolidations Accountant will possess the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting critical reporting deadlines. The Senior Consolidations Accountant must demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to financial accuracy. Previous experience performing responsibilities similar to those of a Senior Consolidations Accountant in a multinational environment is highly desired. Preferred Qualifications CPA certification or CPA eligibility. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or similar consolidation platforms. Experience utilizing Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools. Previous experience in a multinational corporate accounting environment. Public accounting experience combined with corporate accounting exposure. Experience supporting process improvement initiatives related to close, reporting, and consolidation functions. Exposure to financial reporting requirements for complex global organizations. A Senior Consolidations Accountant with experience supporting publicly traded companies is preferred. Prior experience as a Senior Consolidations Accountant or in a highly visible corporate accounting role is strongly preferred. The ideal Senior Consolidations Accountant will have a proven track record of improving consolidation, reporting, or close processes. Experience working with global stakeholders and supporting multinational operations as a Senior Consolidations Accountant is a plus.
