We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support accurate invoicing and payment processing for a logistics operation. This position plays an important role in maintaining organized billing records, preparing customer statements, and helping ensure accounts are handled in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computerized billing tools, communicates clearly, and can manage routine collections activities effectively.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue invoices with accuracy, ensuring billing information is complete and aligned with service records.
• Review account activity, generate customer statements, and maintain organized documentation for billing transactions.
• Follow up on outstanding balances through clear collections communication and timely account monitoring.
• Enter, update, and verify billing data within computerized systems to support accurate financial records.
• Resolve routine billing questions by coordinating with internal teams and customers to clarify charges or account details.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies, investigate variances, and make appropriate corrections when needed.
• Support daily billing operations by tracking due dates, processing adjustments, and keeping records current.• Previous experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or a similar administrative finance role.
• Working knowledge of billing procedures, customer statements, and collections practices.
• Proficiency using computerized billing systems and general office software.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct billing inconsistencies.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for customer and team interaction.
• Ability to organize workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple billing tasks efficiently.
• Basic understanding of recordkeeping and financial data accuracy within an office environment.
