Adjunct Faculty - Art

Adjunct Faculty – Art Duties & Responsibilities Teach up to seven semester credit hours (up to two courses). Instruction may be delivered on‑campus, off‑campus, or online; may occur during day and/or evening as dictated by student demand and departmental needs. Develop and manage the class syllabus and ensure that it meets department and college standards. Plan and create lectures, in‑class discussions, and assignments. Assess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations. Assist/mentor students as needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Education: Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field required to teach undergraduate courses, OR a terminal degree in the field of study or closely related required to teach graduate courses. Experience: Demonstrated expertise in the subject area. Knowledge / Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Preferred Qualifications Current relevant professional credentials. College or University teaching experience. Evidence of teaching excellence. Prior relevant industry experience. Online or hybrid teaching experience. All positions are security‑sensitive.
