We re currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner- Hematology/Oncology to join our amazing team.

• Start date: ASAP
• Schedule: Full Time
• Support Staff: MA assistance with rooms and scheduling, nurse navigators, and 1 other APP
• Amount of Coverage Needed: Full-time, 4x10/weekly
• Patients Per Day: Up to 12 patients per day; usually around 8
• Patient Population/Age: Adults only
• Department Description: Solid tumor oncology; no acute leukemia. Some triage and response to infusion reactions, iron infusions, and non-oncology infusions. Most all visits are pre-chemotherapy visits and short-term follow-up visits. They may do some initial hematology consults, but unlikely
• EMR: EPIC
• Special Procedures: None MDs perform procedures
• Outpatient only
• Clinic

Requirements:

• License Required: CA license preferred for PA
• CA license required for NP. If NP, must have board cert: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
• DEA: CA DEA With schedule 2 required
• Certifications Preferred: AONC preferred
• Certifications Required: BLS
• Minimum Experience Required: At least 1 year of oncology experience
• Location: Fremont, CA
