Your Role Awaits

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing a range of acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, working either cooperatively with physicians or independently (depending on your credentials)
• Offering education to patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining accurate and complete records in electronic medical systems (EMR)

Qualifications You Will Need

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
