It might be the place. What they’re looking for: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Certified to perform Mammography or willing to obtain within 12 months of hire. Current BLS certification required. One year of previous experience preferred. Hours and compensation potential: 2 positions available: 1 is day shift (4–9 hour shifts, 7am–6pm) with rotating on call and weekends; 1 is evenings/nights (4–10 hour shifts) from 7pm–5am with weekends. The range is between $63,400 ($30.49/hr) and $95,000 ($45/hr) plus full benefits and a relocation/sign‑on package. What you’ll be doing: Operate specialized computerized x‑ray equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of the human anatomy, aiding radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders. Assist physicians and radiologists in performing examinations by administering and providing contrast media as needed. Identify, greet, and address patients; check physician and work orders; verify patient identity; explain the examination; position patients for exam and perform procedure according to established protocols. Use proper radiation protection and precautions, prepare and operate CT equipment appropriately. Inform the Modality Lead, Imaging Medical Director, or direct report of any unusual concerns, situations, or conditions relative to staff, patients, and physicians. Assist with stocking and cleaning rooms daily; maintain adequate inventory of all required supplies by utilizing supply management software/hardware and/or informing appropriate personnel for acquisition. Perform a variety of clerical and image‑management tasks, such as working up patients, completing appropriate paperwork following each examination, and properly identifying exams for PACS storage and review. Participate in quality control and quality assurance studies. Assist the supervising radiologist with administrative functions. Enforce radiation safety principles.
