Boom Truck Driver

F&G Mechanical Corp. is seeking a dependable and motivated Boom Truck Driver to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. The ideal candidate is 21 years of age or older, holds a valid CDL Class A license, and has boom truck/lift experience. This full-time position is responsible for safely delivering tools, equipment, and materials to construction sites. Warehouse experience is a plus.

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Safely operates delivery vehicle while driving to assigned locations; Delivers equipment, tools, materials, parts and supplies to construction job sites; Assists with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries; General warehouse duties, including tool and material inventory; Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established

Warehouse Delivery or similar experience preferred; Must be 21 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED; Must have and maintain a valid CDL A license with a good driving record; Candidate must possess proficient manual transmission operation skills Minimum 4+ years of verified experience operating a boom truck. Candidates without direct boom truck experience will not be considered. Operates a truck with a hydraulic crane (boom) to lift, move, and place heavy materials at job sites Requiring a CDL, boom operation skills, and knowledge of safety protocols to safely transport and maneuver loads like steel, pipe, or equipment, coordinating with ground crews and performing pre-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations like OSHA. Experience Pulling Trailers and Driving Lift Gate Trucks. Some early morning and weekends may be required for deliveries. Have an excellent attitude towards safety and firm adherence to safety protocols, Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and continued compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated random drug and alcohol testing requirements.

The employee is required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee regularly lifts and/or moves twenty-five (25) pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to sixty (60) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel to field locations.
