Low Voltage Technician / Systems Integrator

We are looking for a reliable Low Voltage Technician / Systems Integrator to join our team long-term..

Our company works on commercial low-voltage and technology projects throughout California,

including structured cabling, camera systems, access control, networking, Wi-Fi, A/V, equipment racks,

and full-site technology installations. Most work is performed across California, but out-of-town travel,

overnight stays, and occasional out-of-state projects may be required.

A company truck, tools, and phone may be provided for qualified technicians.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, label, terminate, and test Cat6 / low-voltage cabling

• Install and troubleshoot IP cameras, access control, networking equipment, Wi-Fi, racks, and

A/V systems

• Assist with camera upgrades, analog-to-digital migrations, door hardware, readers, panels,

switches, access points, displays, projectors, and speakers

• Build and organize MDF/IDF rooms, racks, patch panels, switches, and cable management

• Use ladders, lifts, hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely

• Read and follow basic floor plans, wiring diagrams, site notes, and installation instructions

• Submit tickets, job updates, photos, notes, and expense reports as required

• Manage and take care of company-provided tools, phone, truck, and equipment

• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and clients

• Travel to different job sites as needed

Requirements

• Experience with low-voltage cabling, Cat5e/Cat6, cameras, access control, networking, or A/V

installation

• Valid driver’s license required

• Clean driving record required

• Comfortable driving a company-provided truck

• Comfortable with out-of-town travel, overnight stays, and occasional out-of-state work

• Comfortable submitting tickets, job notes, photos, and expense reports

• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts when needed

• Reliable, punctual, professional, and willing to learn

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Ubiquiti / UniFi

Eagle Eye Networks

Brivo or other access control systems

IP camera installation

Fiber, conduit, or rack build-outs

Point-to-point wireless links

Commercial A/V systems

MDF / IDF cleanup and structured cabling

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean work, shows up on time, communicates clearly,

and wants to grow with the company. The right candidate should be comfortable with both field work

and basic documentation, including tickets, photos, job notes, and expense reports.

Schedule and Travel

This is a field position with work at commercial job sites throughout California. Some projects may

require overnight stays, out-of-town travel, weekend or after-hours work, and occasional out-of-state

travel.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on experience, reliability, and technical ability.

Estimated range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour

Different benefit package options are available depending on position, experience, and eligibility.

Company truck, tools, and phone may be provided for qualified technicians.
