Facility Based Crisis Registered Nurse PRN Type: Regular We are looking for a positive and personable individual to join our team at RHA Health Services. This position is part of a team that provides support, services, and treatments necessary for integrated care of individuals with behavioral health diagnoses or substance use disorders. The nurse will provide oversight and general nursing care and services in a facility-based crisis/non-hospital detox setting. All patients are voluntary and perform their own ADLs. There are no physical or chemical restraints. The average length of stay for patients is 5–7 days. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Job Responsibilities Utilize nursing assessment skills and knowledge to assess and monitor clients, participate in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment, and respond to crises promptly. Comply with Controlled Substances policy and procedures, keeping accurate inventories and controlled logs and investigating discrepancies. Monitor consumers and take appropriate action for medication side effects and adverse reactions. Complete QA activities as requested and participate in the QA process. Communicate effectively with the team. Have excellent listening and communication skills, be attuned to nonverbal cues, and be willing to work on nonstandard nursing assignments. Education, Licensure, and Experience Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with at least an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Must meet the education, experience, licensure/certification requirements specified by the service definition. Preference for one year of nursing experience. Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred. Some college training and/or management experience helpful. Valid driver’s license (condition of employment) with personal vehicle insurance coverage. Must maintain proficiency in company-sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required. Pre-Employment Screening Complete criminal background check. Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements. Proof of employment history or references (if required).
