An established bakery café in the Springfield area is hiring a second-in-command to run shifts alongside the General Manager: fresh bread, pastry and cake production plus a full café menu.

What You'll Do

• Run opening and closing shifts as the manager on duty

• Lead the front of house team through morning and lunch rush

• Coach service standards, speed of service and order accuracy

• Manage scheduling, shift labor and cash handling

• Handle guest recovery in the moment, before it becomes a review

• Support ordering, inventory counts and vendor deliveries

• Step in across stations when the floor needs it

✅ What We Need

• 2+ years as an Assistant Manager, Shift Lead or above in café, bakery, fast casual or full service

• Proven ability to run a shift without the GM on the floor

• Comfort with POS reporting, scheduling software and daily sales numbers

• ServSafe certification, or willing to certify within 30 days

• Available mornings, weekends and holidays
