Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, or university in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science. Proof of educational transcripts must be submitted at time of application. Experience Relevant work experience in a medical laboratory is required if MLS/MT degree is not obtained. Certification/Licensure Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – ASCP, or NCLS certification preferred. Reports results of tests ordered stat and highly abnormal or unexpected results in a timely manner and according to established policies and procedures.
