Bridge Maintenance Technician

Bridge Maintenance Technician Full‑time position in Porter, Texas on IH‑45. Responsibilities include performing highway maintenance operations, inspections, bridge and concrete repair, and structure maintenance, while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations and Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Required Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in construction industry Minimum 1 year of related experience in bridge, structure construction, concrete form/placement, and repair work Roadway or tollway maintenance experience Must pass criminal background check Preferred Experience Must be able to work with computer and smart‑phone applications MOT Certifications (traffic control) Clean driving record is essential CDL A License a plus Travel Requirements 75% of the time, overnight travel. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing) Must have organizational and presentation skills Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations Carry out simple arithmetic functions Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology Ability to use smart phone and applications Ability to adjust to changing work schedule and multi‑task Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly while twisting; other strenuous manual labor may be required Ability to operate hand/power tools Schedule Full time; Monday - Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with some night and weekend work if needed. Must be able to work during snow and ice events. Will be placed on on‑call schedule.
