RN Medical Surgical – Travel Contract

Location: Springfield, IL
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
• BLS Certification required
• Experience with blood product administration, PICC lines, peripheral IV management, and isolation precautions
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric Med Surg patients
• Administer medications and blood products
• Manage IV therapy, PICC lines, and enteral feeding needs
• Monitor and care for patients with GI bleeds, bowel obstruction, pancreatitis, diverticulitis, alcohol withdrawal, and post-surgical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
