About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Technology to join its Global Operations Team. This senior technology leader will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the firm's core technology functions, providing both strategic and operational governance to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable technology environment that aligns with business priorities. The role involves partnering with the Chief Digital & Technology Officer to execute the firm's technology strategy, modernize foundational platforms, and deliver high-quality, reliable technology services. The successful candidate will also be involved in organizational change management, project management, and will assume additional functions as these capabilities are established. Candidates for the Managing Director, Technology position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Significant experience in technology leadership roles, particularly within a law firm or professional services organization, is strongly preferred. The role requires a proven track record of overseeing enterprise technology functions in a global, matrixed environment, and a strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, endpoint technologies, and user experience in large, distributed organizations. The ideal candidate will have excellent executive communication skills, strong people leadership abilities, and a pragmatic approach to balancing innovation with stability and risk management. Experience in managing a large team of IT professionals and a global technology environment is essential.
