Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in  Smithtown NY 11787 . 

Job Details: 
Schedule:   Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm
Location:   Smithtown NY 11787
Job Type:  Contract
Contract Length: 3+ Months  (Possibility of extension or conversion )
Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00/hour
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Take vital signs and growth measurements.
• Record temperature, blood pressure, weight, height, and head circumference for infants.
• Perform vision and hearing screenings.
• Perform and process laboratory tests.
• Sanitize examination rooms and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Stock and organize medical supplies.
• Comfort and reassure children who are anxious before seeing the doctor.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with inquiries.

Requirements: 

• Education: High school diploma or GED 
• Years of experience: 1+ years of Phlebotomy experience
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: EHR/EMR
