Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Xenia, OH. As a PTA on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, providing direct care and assistance with physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists with the evaluation, planning, and implementation of patient care plans Conduct physical therapy interventions, including exercise instruction, gait training, and education on proper body mechanics Use a variety of techniques, including heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, as directed by the physical therapist Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of patients Participate in patient education and discharge planning Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Ohio 0 years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed What We Offer:
