?? Position Details

Location: Oceanside, CA

Setting: High School

Schedule: 35 Hours Per Week | 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

?? Pay Rate: Up to $50/Hour

?? Caseload: Approximately 25 Students

Behavioral Support Level: Medium

Medical Support Level: Level 3

?? What You'll Do

? Provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs

? Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations

? Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

? Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies

? Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

? Support students academically, socially, and emotionally

? Maintain compliance with all educational and professional standards

? Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred

• Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential required

• Clear Credential preferred

• Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred

• Experience working with high school students preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Current CPR certification and health requirements as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred

• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations

• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred

• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
