About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a manufacturer known for producing plastic containers used in consumer-packaged goods. Their facility is a high-volume, non-union plant with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. This Maintenance Manager role is a top priority and offers the chance to step into a highly visible position with immediate impact. The team needs a leader who can strengthen maintenance execution, develop technicians, and help drive a safer, more reliable operation. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading from the floor, and solving problems the right way. What You’ll Do Lead all maintenance operations with a strong focus on safety. Oversee preventive maintenance programs and work order completion. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Drive root cause analysis and long‑term corrective actions. Partner with plant leadership to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. Manage parts inventory, quoting, and purchase orders. Use internal systems to track maintenance activity and reporting. Work with corporate technical resources when needed. Who You Are You’re a direct, hands‑on leader who likes being on the plant floor and staying close to the work. You know how to hold people accountable while also coaching and developing a growing team. You are solutions‑oriented, practical, and focused on lasting fixes instead of short‑term patches. You communicate clearly, lead with consistency, and bring the kind of presence that helps a team perform with confidence. Preferred Experience & Attributes Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems. Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and guide technical problem‑solving. Proven success developing less experienced technicians. Strong safety leadership and commitment to compliance. Plastics or blow molding experience is preferred but not required. Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is a plus. Experience with root cause analysis methodologies is helpful. Background in high‑volume CPG or packaging environments is preferred.
