The contract spans the entire academic year, from August 12th, 2026, through May 27th, 2027, providing valuable continuity for the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Special Education Teacher certification (TX SPED)
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students across a range of abilities
• Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with a small team of dedicated educators and support staff
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction based on each student’s needs and IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to create supportive and inclusive learning experiences
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional growth in a nurturing school community
