Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and support
- Document evaluation findings, ongoing progress, and service delivery according to school and district guidelines
- Provide support, resources, and education for teachers and family members to facilitate student success in and out of the classroom
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise relevant to student goals
