What You'll Do

Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment in compliance with hospital protocols
Operate sterilization equipment such as Sterrad, Ultrasonic, and CaviWave systems
Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and equipment usage
Participate in emergency team assignments as needed, including being available for extended shifts during events
Support surgical teams by ensuring all sterile processing needs are met efficiently and accurately
Maintain strict infection control standards and safety procedures

What You Need

Valid CRCST or CSPDT certification
At least 3 years of sterile processing experience in a hospital setting
Experience with CensiTrac system and sterilization equipment
Ability to work day shift hours (06:00 – 14:30)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in New Orleans, LA, focused on providing high-quality surgical services. The role involves supporting surgical teams by ensuring all sterilized instruments are processed efficiently and accurately, critical to patient safety and procedural success. Emergency team participation may be required, with shifts and responsibilities adjusted accordingly.
