Experience: Minimum of 3 years working experience in a Level I or II hospital.

License: Current State License required.

Certifications: IAHCSMM/HSPA, CRCST, CSPDT.

Must-Have: Must have experience with the CensiTrac system. Experience with sterilizers, Sterrad machines, and ultrasonic machines (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed). Must be certified and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with flexible cystoscopes, flexible ureteroscopes, neurology, cardiovascular, and robotics. Skills checklist must indicate a minimum score of 3 for all required skills.

Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware of the expectations upon accepting the assignment. There may be an assignment to an "Emergency Team" where there is an expectation to remain at the facility until the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details relating to pay will be communicated during each emergency event. You should only apply if you are comfortable with these expectations. No first-time travelers will be considered. A trackable work history is required, with no cancellations in work history. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of various sterilization techniques. You will need to describe the 3-sink method in decontamination. The loaner/vendor process should be well understood. Candidates should know the key parameters monitored on the sterilization printout to determine instrument sterility. Teamwork is a key component of this role, and you should be prepared to discuss its importance. Instrument functionality checks must be conducted regularly. Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic instruments is required, including the cleaning process for robotic arms and instruments in decontamination. Candidates must comply with all requirements and demonstrate reliability and professionalism in their role.
