Position Highlights:

• Flexible work structure ranging from 0.8 to 1.0 FTE

• 0.5 to 0.7 FTE dedicated to Faculty/Teaching responsibilities

• 0.3 to 0.5 FTE for Clinical duties (negotiable)

• Core faculty compensation: $171/hour (for up to 0.7 FTE)

• Collaborative opportunities with faculty in Sacramento and Davis

• Full-scope Family Medicine practice in a rural setting with complex cases

• Chance to significantly influence curriculum and resident training

• OB services are optional but encouraged

• Inpatient care experience is highly valued

The Ideal Candidate:

• Enthusiastic about resident education and mentorship

• Interested in developing curriculum and fostering faculty growth

• Comfortable practicing full-scope family medicine

• Dedicated to continuity of care for medically and socially complex populations

• Enjoys performing a variety of medical procedures

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine

• Active clinical practice with the ability to supervise and assess residents

• Experience with ACGME competency-based evaluations

• Involvement in curriculum development, resident assessment, and program enhancement

• Qualified and credentialed to provide direct patient care and oversee residents

Compensation & Benefits:

• Two-year income guarantee with a pathway to becoming a shareholder

• Potential earnings exceeding $320,000 in the first year

• Sign-on bonus of up to $50,000
