Regulatory Compliance Senior Specialist

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Regulatory Compliance Senior Specialist to serve as subject matter expert in product safety compliance. The role focuses on Safety Data Sheet authoring, hazard communication, and global chemical regulations such as GHS, REACH, and OSHA requirements, based in Waltham, Massachusetts on-site.
Responsibilities
- Lead generation, maintenance, and compliance of Safety Data Sheets for global markets using WERCS
- Support regulatory compliance strategy, process improvements, and business alignment initiatives
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement timely compliance updates within workflows
- Provide technical guidance on SDS authoring, hazard data interpretation, and issue resolution
- Manage Service Cloud inquiries and oversee quality checks across product portfolios
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or related field
- 4+ years of regulatory affairs, compliance, or product safety administration experience
- Advanced proficiency authoring Safety Data Sheets using relevant software platforms
- Applied knowledge of global chemical regulations including GHS, CLP, REACH, and OSHA
- Strong independent work capability and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated excellence in accuracy, attention to detail, and data quality
- WERCS software experience (preferred)
Compensation: $72,500-$100,000 base, eligible for bonus/incentive pay
