This opportunity seeks experienced clinical pharmacists to support a premier pediatric hospital recognized as a Level I Trauma Center. The role focuses on delivering expert medication management and enhancing therapeutic outcomes within an inpatient setting.

Location: Cordova, TN (Memphis area)
Position Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Start Date: November 2
Shift: Day/Evening, 12 PM – 8 PM (schedule details to be finalized during interview)

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultative services and clinical expertise to evaluate medication usage and optimize therapeutic outcomes for pediatric patients
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients to ensure safe administration of medications
• Process medication orders and prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Participate in policy development and ensure compliance with medication safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance programs
• Promote ongoing improvement initiatives within pharmacy practice
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and pharmacy operations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric clinical pharmacy experience required
• Tennessee pharmacist license in good standing
• Ability to provide expert advice on pediatric medication regimens in an inpatient hospital setting
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
