Software Development Engineer II, Delivery Experience

The Delivery Experience Speed Tech (DEX Speed Tech) team is redefining fast delivery for millions of Amazon customers worldwide—enabling “need-it-now” convenience through innovative programs and technology. We build and launch customer-facing innovations across sub-same day (SSD) and ultra-fast delivery services, working at the intersection of software, fulfillment, and retail operations.As an SDE 2 on the DEX Speed Tech team, you'll develop customer-facing features for sub-same day (SSD) and ultra-fast delivery services. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your code directly impacts customer experience and delivery operations.Key job responsibilities1) Design and implement scalable software solutions for Speed delivery tracking and notifications 2) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build customer-facing features3) Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage4) Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions5) Debug production issues and implement improvements6) Contribute to team's technical documentation7) Mentor junior engineers on the team A day in the lifeYou will be part of setting the team culture, quality bar, engineering best practices, and norms. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
